Key Dates

The Edgewater City Council has set a meeting for Tuesday November 25, 2025 to discuss possible changes to the Tip Credit for 2026. Any formal changes to the Tip Credit will need two meetings to approve a ordinance. This meeting will be utilized as the first meeting and a ordinance will be introduced.

This is the last regular scheduled City Council meeting of 2025. If a ordinance was introduced and voted on at the November 25 meeting, this would be the second and final meeting for approval of the ordinance and any changes for 2026.

The Edgewater Minimum Wage is set to increase as scheduled on January 1, 2026. If any changes to the tip credit are approved prior to January 1, those changes will become effective on January 1, 2026.
