The City of Edgewater is beginning the update to the Edgewater Sustainability Plan.

Key Points:

  • Purpose: This plan update is being conducted to ensure Edgewater continues to be a healthy, safe, vibrant, and sustainable city.
  • Usage: The updates made to the Sustainability Plan will guide city initiatives in Edgewater for the next 5 years.
  • Process: This update will begin with an assessment of the progress made with Sustainability Plan 2019, followed by identification of the community’s current priorities, and will conclude with the drafting of a strategic update and final plan.
  • Inclusivity: The plan updates are to include input from residents across all demographics, including age, gender, and ethnicity/race.

  • Sustainability Plan Community Survey (ENGLISH)

    We want and need to hear from you!

    The City of Edgewater adopted a Sustainability Plan in 2019, and over the last 5 years, the community has already implemented many of the recommendations in the Plan (click here to view the Plan).  The City and Sustainability Board are kicking off a short, but focused community engagement process to make strategic updates to the Plan, in order to guide the City’s sustainability efforts for the next ~5 years.

    Let us know what you think the City’s sustainability priorities should be by completing this short (~5 minute) survey!  If you complete the survey, you can share your email address to be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card that four participants will win. Your email address will only be used for the drawing and if you opt into the mailing list at the end of this survey. 

    If you want to take the survey on paper instead, it is available at the Civic Center, 1800 Harlan St. (Community Development Department).

  • Encuesta Comunitaria del Plan de Sostenibilidad (ESPAÑOL)

    ¡Queremos y necesitamos saber de usted!

    La ciudad de Edgewater adoptó un Plan de Sostenibilidad en el 2019 y durante los últimos 5 años, la comunidad ya ha implementado muchas de las recomendaciones del Plan ( haga clic aquí para ver el Plan ). La ciudad y el comité de sostenibilidad están iniciando un proceso de participación comunitaria breve, pero enfocado en realizar actualizaciones estratégicas al Plan, con el fin de guiar los esfuerzos de sostenibilidad de la ciudad durante los próximos ~5 años.

    Cuéntanos cuáles cree que deberían ser las prioridades de sostenibilidad de la ciudad completando esta breve encuesta (de unos 5 minutos de duración). Si completa la encuesta, puede compartir su dirección de correo electrónico para participar en un sorteo de una tarjeta de regalo de $25 que ganarán cuatro participantes. Su dirección de correo electrónico solamente se utilizará para el sorteo, y si se inscribe en la lista de correo al final de esta encuesta.
